When your loved one passed away, one cannot help but feels lost. While you are grieving, there is however a list of tasks to be taken care of, like reporting to the authorities, making announcement, preparation of the wake and funeral arrangements.

Depending on your religion (Buddhism or Taoism) and the extent of your preferred procedures, the costs of the whole wake and funeral arrangements will vary.

Buddhist funeral is usually very simple. From choosing the casket to the altar arrangements, everything can be done simply. We can help with arranging for the prayer sessions for the monks to deliver the rites and sermons. 

Taoism funeral has many different forms. We have very specialised Taoist monks who can perform the traditional ceremonial rituals required. 

If you have a bigger budget, you can include more procedures and things and if you have a lower budget, just choose a more simple funeral. We will help ensure the whole send-off is smooth and dignified.

The mourning period varies depending on cultural practices and individual beliefs. Some hold it for 3 days, some 5 days and others 7 days. Sometimes it depends on the venue availability for example, if you are holding the wake at the void deck of an HDB block, we have to check if there are any other bookings during the same period.

Funeral ceremonies start from the wake and proceed to the crematorium or burial ground. We help with the ceremonial rituals, the prayers session, the music accompaniment, the transport arrangements, flowers display and cleansing process, food, etc.

The after service includes ash and bone collection, and prayer sessions and memorial services for 3rd, 7th, 49th and 100th day.  

Food offerings, flowers, joss sticks and incense papers and crafts can be provided if required.
